I got product comin' out that I didn't even know I did! Peep for yourself!
So yeah, apparently there are Wolverine & the X-Men busts and statues on the way. This particular one will be coming out in early 2010. And as keen observers may or not be aware of, that particular design was done by yours truly way back in 2007. Pow!
Crazy how things work out like that huh? Now, if only I could get my hands on a comped version....
Oh, and if you're in the tri-state area October 16-18th, come see your boy at the newly revamped Big Apple Comic Con, now run by Wizard World. I will be there with studio mate Emilio Lopez doing the usual thing, sellin' stuff, drawin' stuff, kissing babies, hugging wifes, etc. Don't bother asking the table #, I'm a super last minute addition so even I don't know yet. But I will be there, better believe it.

NICE man, I couldn't make it out to drink and draw tonight, but thankfully I got this post to hold me drizown.
they must archive that stuff away for a long time... none the less, your drawing seems to look better than the figure. I think its due to the lack of facial expression in that little guy.
Just so you know, I've followed your web site for like, 5 years its totally the best. Your my hero and Scottie young has nothing on you. You freaking rock!
Hikeda - Well, with sculpture , as with any kind of collaboration there's always a bit of a compromise. What I drew with was always meant to be graphic, I never once thought it would be turned into a 3-dimensional representation. I think they did a pretty decent job at capturing the pose however, even if the expression is a bit different.
David Booth - thanx man. I appreciate it.
As for Skottie, hey what can I say. We've both learned quite a bit from each other and he's a good friend, so I could never knock that guy. We get a lot of comparisons but what we draw and our career paths are really nite and day. And in his lane, I'd say he's definitely been knocking it out the park. Especially lately.
Looking forward to seeing you there and stop by the Shocker Toys booth# 321
