Question did you ink it in Illustrator or Photoshop?

Did you ever try Painter?
For inking I think it is way better than Photoshop.
Let me know if you can.

KaNO - Hell man, I can't keep up with this sh*t. I JUST got upgraded to CS3.

Vee - All Photoshop. I've never really gotten down with Painter but I've heard great things about it. Same with Alias Sketchbook. I need to mess around with both. I just have a certain comfort level with PS's tools.

I'm also very familiar with PSD, shortcuts and all. But remember, Photoshop is an image-editing application at its best.

Painter feels very loose and natural. The "pen" and "pencil" brushes feels closer to the real thing for drawing. I do use Photoshop for some coloring and fx. I'm still in the process of experimenting with both products and I'm curious as to what other use digitally.

Definitely mess with Alias if you can. It's got a very natural feel as well but not the memory hog that Painter can be. Not very good for painting, but very good for linework. All the heads in my studio use Alias to work on TMNT.

Alias Sketchbook . . . THANKS, I'll try it out.
